Each group will do preliminary research on their topic of interest. After completing that research, you will post a 500-word proposal describing your topic, how you intend to approach that topic, your documentary's overall purpose, and the audience that you intend to address. This document is meant to assist you in planning your project. As with any project of this magnitude, some of these elements will unlikely change as you work through the composing process. This proposal is meant to guide you and is not a contract. However, you should keep me apprised of changes and developments as they occur. Your proposal should be posted as a story
Tasks to be completed:
- Reserve a camera!
- Create a clear plan for creating your documentary; this should include a specific goal.
- Identify your primary audience.
- Write a short piece describing your specific goals and the techniques you intend to employ. (Keep in mind that these can and likely will change.)
